当地时间6月22日下午，比利时副首相兼农业大臣戴维·克拉伦瓦与中华人民共和国海关总署署长俞建华一行在布鲁塞尔举行双边会谈，比利时联邦食品链安全局（FASFC）代表出席会议。会议期间，双方就非洲猪瘟、疯牛病等动物疫病防控和比利时农食产品输华等议题交换意见。会后，双方签署了疯牛病防控合作谅解备忘录和比利时芽球菊苣输华议定书。

On the afternoon of June 22nd, Belgian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Agriculture, David Clarinval, held bilateral talks with the Director General of the General Administration of Customs of the People's Republic of China Mr. YU Jianhua, in Brussels. Representatives from the Federal Agency for the Safety of the Food Chain (FASFC) of Belgium attended the meeting. During the meeting, the two sides exchanged views on the prevention and control of animal diseases such as African swine fever and bovine spongiform encephalopathy, as well as the export of Belgian agricultural food and products to China. After the meeting, the two sides signed the Memorandum on cooperation in prevention and control of bovine spongiform encephalopathy, as well as the Protocol Belgian witloof chicory exported to China.

The signing of the Protocol marks the first step towards the export of Belgian witloof chicory to China. We look forward to seeing fresh Belgian witloof chicory in the Chinese market in the near future.
